 Hotel Description:

This hotel encompasses a 15-story high-rise connected by skywalk to a 24-story tower, completed in 2004. Fitness freaks will appreciate the abundant running and walking trails located in and around Centennial Olympic Park. With art deco overtones, soft hues of cream and mauve, and oversized furnishings, guest rooms are well equipped with modern amenities, such as on-demand movies, triple phone lines and WebTV. They also include workstations with modem connections. The Omni, a quick 15 minutes from Hartsfield International Airport, sits opposite Centennial Olympic Park and connects to the Philips Arena and the Georgia World Congress Center. With views of Centennial Olympic Park and downtown Atlanta, the hotel's open- kitchen Prime Meridian Restaurant draws tourists, locals, and CNN employees. Guests can ask staff at the front desk for "Get Fit Kits," which include floor mats, hand weights and elastic bands for mini-workouts in their guest rooms rather than traipsing to the fitness center. Guests can walk to many downtown attractions, stores and entertainment venues. Latitudes Bistro and Lounge provides plenty of people watching space. Through floor-to-ceiling windows, the rooms present views of the atrium terrace, the downtown skyline or the Centennial Olympic Park. When viewers watch the latest news on CNN, they are watching a network based at the CNN Center, home also to the Atlanta Omni Hotel, one of the most well-known hotels in the city. The Omni also is the closest hotel to the Georgia Dome, home to the NFL Falcons. Amenities include underground access to the MARTA rail line, CNN Center food court and post office, and the extensive Turner Athletic Club.
